St. Joseph's Mission Hospital Peramiho has a rich history of providing nursing and midwifery services. Established in 1901, where the history started by one nurse who was among 4 missionaries Benedictine sister who started caring sick in the village, the hospital has been a beacon of hope and health for the community. Over the decades, our nursing and midwifery departments have grown and evolved, incorporating modern practices and technologies while maintaining our commitment to compassionate care. Our legacy includes: The introduction of the first midwifery training program in the region, Pioneering maternal and child health initiatives, Consistent improvements in patient care through ongoing education and training of our staff. There is on place of implementation plan for nurses and midwives to continue with further studies.
