Obstetrics & Gynaecology
The department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is one of the major department in our hospital,
it has a dedicated team of nurses and doctors. Our team comprises of 3 full time specialists and
one consultant gynaecologist, 1 Medical Doctors (MD), 4-6 Intern Doctors and 37 nurses. We
offer services for inpatients and outpatients in the areas of fetal maternal medicine, labor and
delivery, all diseases of the reproductive organs including malignancies and fertility problem.
For outpatients we offer diagnosis and treatment of all gynaecological diseases like pelvic
inflammatory disease, ovarian masses or cervical carcinoma, Pelvic organ prolapse menstrual problems, fibroids, vulva and vaginal benign and malignant lesions.

Obstetrics and gnecological department provides regular check-up for pregnant women in order to identify risk factors like Hypertension, anemia, sexually transmitted diseases, gestational diabetes mellitus and rhesus incompatibility. The department offers surgical procedures such as caesarian section, hysterectomy, myomectomy, fibrioplasty, ovarian drilling and cystectomies as well as minor procedures like cervical cerclage, evacuations , marsupialization of bartholincyst/abscess and others. Cervical cancer screening and RCH services are offered on working days free of charge at our department
